As you know, we regard Brazil a very important leader of the South, of the Global South, the leader of developing countries.
We have both common backgrounds. We are big countries. We have the biggest, I think, tropical forests in the world. Brasil has a very strong and successful agriculture, producing economically. You have continued development very well. We have good relations up to now.
I personally admire you, Your Excellency. I have copied many of your policies because you attach the same importance, great importance, to the welfare of your people. That is also my highest priority: the welfare of the Indonesian people.
Once again, welcome and I look forward to our meeting today.
